Opening day for Taos Ski Valley is just a couple weeks away and the forecasters are calling for another storm to come barreling through New Mexico this weekend. After a short, but enjoyable week of sun, the Southwest gets right back into a pattern of unsettled weather. "ANOTHER PACIFIC SYSTEM IS EXPECTED TO PUSH THROUGH...ON THE HEALS OF THE UPCOMING ONE." reads the NOAA weather discussion for New Mexico this weekend.

This is a great spectator event and if you have the stuff to prove you can conquer the mountain, sign up! But you better bring your "A" game! Because if the other competitors don't get you, the mountain will!
